Terms of Service

IMAX Tracker (the “Service”) is a tool that monitors publicly available IMAX 70mm showtime information from third-party cinema websites and delivers notifications when tickets become available. The Service is operated by Conor Stripling.

By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

IMAX Tracker is an independent project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by IMAX Corporation, AMC Theatres, any other cinema chain, or any film studio. All trademarks, film titles, and poster art remain the property of their respective owners and are used here for identification purposes only.

You must provide a valid email address to receive notifications. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account. You may delete your account at any time by emailing drop70mm@gmail.com from the address on file; we confirm and complete the deletion within 30 days (usually much sooner).

You agree not to:

• use the Service to resell or commercially redistribute showtime data;
• scrape, crawl, or automate access to the Service beyond normal user interaction;
• attempt to bypass authentication, rate limits, or paid-tier restrictions;
• use the Service to harass, defraud, or infringe the rights of others;
• use the Service in violation of applicable law.

Notifications are delivered on a best-effort basis via browser push, email, or third-party channels you configure. We do not guarantee that any notification will be delivered, delivered on time, or delivered before tickets sell out. Ticket availability can change second-by-second and is outside our control.

Paid plans unlock additional features as described on the pricing page. Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store your card details. Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. You may cancel at any time from your account — cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable. If you believe you have been charged in error, contact us at drop70mm@gmail.com.

EU and UK consumers — 14-day right of withdrawal. If you reside in the European Union, the United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction granting an equivalent right, you may withdraw from a new paid subscription within 14 days of the start of your billing period for any reason. To withdraw, email drop70mm@gmail.com from the address on your account before the 14-day period ends. We will refund the fee paid for that period within 14 days of receiving your request, using the same payment method you used to purchase. By starting to use Pro features immediately on subscribing, you acknowledge that this right of withdrawal lapses once the service has been fully performed within the period (e.g. for ad-hoc one-time purchases). Renewal periods after the first are not subject to a new 14-day withdrawal window.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability. Showtime data is sourced from third parties and may be incomplete, delayed, or incorrect.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Conor Stripling will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service — including, without limitation, missed showtimes, sold-out tickets, or changes to third-party cinema operations.

Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim or (b) USD $100.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or if continued operation of your account creates legal or operational risk.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by updating the effective date above and, where appropriate, by email or in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in New York, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.
